LOCATION/FINDING US
our top location between the kurfürstendamm (luxury boulevard) and the erman opera (deutsche oper). our location is absolutely quiet, but right in the middle of the city centre of the western area of berlin. it's ideal for visiting the trade-fair grounds; shopping on the kurfürstendamm; and for visiting the opera, theatres, restaurants, bars and the zoo. there are fast, direct connections to and from tegel airport, the large zoo train station, the main train station and the motorway, to assure that you will have a pleasant and uncomplicated arrival and departure.
arrival from the airport
from berlin-tegel airport (txl): take bus x9 to the underground rail station (u-bahn) ernst-reuter-platz. then change into the underground rail system (u-bahn) and travel in the direction of ruhleben to the stop deutsche oper. get off the train and leave the station and walk down the street krumme straße at the supermarket kaisers, and walk to the street goethestraße.
from schönefeld airport (bbi): take the commuter train s9 in the direction of spandau, and get off at the station charlottenburg. at the exit, walk to the street wilmersdorfer straße and turn left there. walk the street goethestraße.
arrival by train
get off the train at the main station (hauptbahnhof). take the commuter train s7 or s9 in the direction of potsdam or spandau and get off at the station charlottenburg. at the exit, walk to the street wilmersdorfer straße and turn in left there. walk to the street goethestraße.
arrival by car
coming from motorway 115: leave the motorway at the exit "messedamm nord/icc". drive on in the direction of the city centre. "stadtzentrum (neue kantstraße)". drive to the street krumme straße. turn left there and then turn in left at the second cross street, which is the street goethestraße.
coming from motorway 100: leave the motorway at the exit "kaiserdamm süd" and continue driving in the direction of the city centre: "stadtzentrum". drive along the street bismarckstraße until you get to the opera house (deutsche oper). then turn right into the street krumme straße and drive to the second street, goethestraße and turn off right there.
